Hello! Did you miss me? Everyone says this is a busy time of year and it is no exception in our house! We’ve been going non-stop, and it does not look like it’s going to slow down anytime soon!
Here’s a quick recap of what we’ve been doing this past week or so.
We had my high school reunion and it was so much fun! It was great catching up with old friends and seeing what they were up to! And of course I put a message on the new video board at Cutters. ;)
I told you all about BTRWoodworks last week. Well a few days after that post BTR had his 2000 sale!! I’m so excited for him!

We decided to take a quick break/date night and left the baby at home with my mom and headed to STL to check out the new Side Project Cellar. The brewer, Cory King, makes some of our favorite beers and we are so excited for his new bar! It’s just down the street from Strange Donuts in Kirkwood.
After we had a couple drinks we went to Schlafly Bottleworks and grabbed some food and another drink. I had their cider on tap and it was delicious! Hopefully they will decide to bottle it!
We had a great Thanksgiving and went to three different family parties on Thursday. Yes it was a very busy day! And yes we are just like the movie Four Christmases.
We worked lots on all our businesses Friday and Saturday. We did a quick run to Nordstrom in West County on Saturday afternoon and then had dinner with out of town family that evening. Sunday we went to church and then worked some more! Monday we had Jude’s last follow up appointment from his surgery and we got the all clear! He shouldn’t ever have to go back for anything related to his surgery, YAY!! Since we were in STL we ran to Trader Joe’s to stock up on some essentials.
Yesterday Jude and I went to MOPS and I put him in childcare for the first time! It’s the first time I’ve ever left him with someone besides my mom or BTR’s mom. It didn’t really hit me till I got into the room where our meeting was being held that he wasn’t with me and someone else had him. But he did great and was happy when I picked him up!
Funny story, after I dropped Jude off I had to run back out to my car to grab something. Well I went down a different hallway and saw doors leading to the parking lot. I saw the sign that said no entrance. Then after I pushed the door open and the alarm went off I saw the “alarm will sound” sign. So that was fun. And really embarrassing. #facepalm
After MOPS, Jude and I ran to target for a few things and I found these!

I think they will make great little gifts packaged with some hot cocoa and a cute mug.
Last night BTR had to snap some product photos in the light box so Jude helped him out! We worked all night and shipped a ton of etsy orders. And we still aren’t caught up!

I was so excited because BTR brought a Christmas tree home after work yesterday. We got it all set up in the stand in the living room and then went to the basement to work. When we came upstairs later that evening it smelled horrible and we realized it was the tree. We are taking it back this afternoon and getting a different one. #christmasfail
Wow that was a lot of randomness! Thanks for sticking around and reading it all! And bonus points for me because I typed the entire thing with one hand on my phone while rocking a I- don’t-want-to-nap-even-though-I’m-exhausted-baby. That’s how we roll around here. ;)
