What a weekend. And a long weekend at that!!! I figured I might as well just jump right back into this whole blogging thing!
Friday after school we decided to kick off the fun with one last visit to the splash pad. I’m not positive, but I think they shut it down after Labor Day. Jude had a blast and was even brave enough to run through some of the larger sprinklers.
We came home and played some more in the back yard and put Jude down for the night. We ate pizza and breadsticks for dinner at started a new Netflix series called Narcos. LOVE it so far!
Saturday morning Jude went to my mom’s house to play so Brandon and I could both get some work done! BTR did lots of work in his shop catching up on etsy orders.
And I assembled some wedding invitations for a special client! I’m so excited with how they turned out!
We went to church Saturday night and then ate dinner and went to bed early!
We woke up Sunday morning and had breakfast and then headed to the Stork Lady sale in Collinsville since it was the last day and most things were 50% off. We got a few fall clothes and some toys to add to our ever growing collection.
After nap time we headed to STL for a little Sunday Funday at Urban Chestnut in the Grove. I think they have one of the best venues in STL and especially for kids! The place was packed and we had some delicious food and drinks (as the usual).
When we got home I decided we needed to have popsicles one more time and threw some pineapple juice in the Zoku for a quick treat.
After Jude went to bed we watched another episode of Narcos (I told you, we’re obsessed).
Monday we did some more work in the morning and played around with Jude before a nice long afternoon nap. We went to a friends house for a BBQ in the afternoon and then came home and relaxed in the backyard before bath and bed time! BTR and I ate dinner and went to bed early again.
It was such a wonderful long weekend and I am certainly not ready for the week to begin, but I guess we don’t have much of a choice. Bring on the coffee!!
