Hey Friends! Happy OPENING DAY! hopefully the weather stays nice and they will get to do all of the normal festivities, my favorite thing ever is watching the Clydesdales go around Busch Stadium!
We had a super, super busy weekend, which means I literally took 4 pictures total. So here’s a quick recap of what we did, with the few photos I did snap!
We’ve been doing tons of work in our square foot garden and lots of green is starting to pop up! We still need to get tomatoes (we don’t start those from seeds) and a few pepper plants.
Saturday was super busy with a bridal shower in the morning and then I ran errands. BTR was at a bachelor party for his cousin all day and evening, so it was just me and Jude all day!
Shopping has taken on a whole new meaning when taking a baby. This is the scene from Old Navy’s dressing room. They had these adorable knot tanks for only $3, so I picked up a few different colors! They will be great for working in the yard this summer or even wearing to yoga or barre class.
Then we ran to Target to pick up a few essentials. Snacks are very important to a happy shopping trip!
BTR got home super late Saturday night because he had major problems with a tire on his truck. So glad he was able to get help to fix it and make it home!
We woke up early Sunday morning and ran errands. We were on a mission to get new chair cushions for the patio because our current ones were very sad looking after 4 summers of sun. We found ones we loved at Garden Ridge At Home, but they only had 5 in the style and color we liked and we needed six of them. I was able to call one in STL and they had what we needed!
Jude took an extra long nap and I ran to Jo-Anns and Michaels to get some supplies to make birthday party decorations. You’d think with a craft warehouse in my basement I would have everything I needed, but there were just a few extra things I wanted to pick up!
We did more yard work that afternoon and then headed to STL to pick up the last chair cushion. We grabbed a quick dinner at Sonic and got our favorite drinks, a watermelon Sprite for BTR and a fresh-fruit-lemon-berry-slush for me (shoutout to Steph for introducing me to this drink in high school, it’s still my favorite!).
We got home and changed the little man into pajamas and gave him a bottle and put him to bed! BTR and I then decided not to do anything else for the evening and just parked on the couch and watched the Game of Thrones season premiere. I totally felt lost and like I need to re-watch last season to remember half of what was going on.
We have another crazy week and I’m so excited to celebrate with our friends and family on Saturday for Jude’s birthday party! Happy Monday friends!
