We had a super fun and busy weekend!
We stayed in Friday night and caught up on projects and other things around the house. I woke up early on Saturday for barre class, and BTR hung out and ran errands with Jude.
Saturday afternoon we left Jude at home (with Brandon’s mom) and headed to St. Louis to the 4 Hands Brewing Co. Lupulin Carnival. It was So. Much. Fun!

The line to enter the carnival was a bit long, but once we were in everything was great! 4 Hands is located downtown STL and they closed off the street in front of it as well as their parking lot for the whole event. I made BTR ride the Ferris Wheel as soon as we got there because there wasn’t a line. I honestly can’t remember the last time I rode one! And here is a fabulous video I made while riding it, hopefully it doesn’t make you sick! :)
They had lots of carnival acts under the big top tent, as well as carnival games. There were lots of great breweries pouring and we got to taste a lot of new beers that we aren’t able to buy in this area.

And no STL event is complete without some food trucks! I was pretty excited that Strange Donuts was there, I got a gooey butter donut for dessert. And yes I ate my tacos from Seoul Taco so fast I forgot to take a picture. #priorities

We came home and got Jude ready for bed and BTR was asleep soon after. I finished some prep for Sunday and went to bed pretty early as well because Sunday morning came bright and early! BTR was an usher at mass, and Jude I met him there. Then we headed home (after a Starbucks run of course) and got ready to head back to STL for our besties baby shower!
I was lucky enough to get to design the invitations to the shower and I LOVE how they came out.

They decided on a “sugar and spice” theme and the coral flowers match their nursery. As one of their gifts, I had the back of the invitation printed larger and framed for them to hang in their baby girl’s room.
A few weeks ago we all met and made the centerpieces. We took foam balls and attached gum drops to them with pins. They turned out adorable! And that amazing cake? It was delicious!

It was so much fun celebrating our best friend’s becoming parents. They got so many fun and useful gifts. And baby girl clothes are pretty much to die for! So much different than what I’m used to with having a boy!
We had such a busy weekend, and now I’m starting to get down to the wire with planning Jude’s party! I ordered a few of his gifts and some decorations last night and am going to try to hit the store for some more things today!
Happy Monday friends, I hope you had a wonderful weekend!
