We’ve had a lot of fun reading Halloween books these past few weeks. I bought a couple to try and show Jude how fun it was to dress up, and then I just kept buying more. Oops. So I thought it would be fun to share our favorites with you!

1. Little Blue Truck’s Halloween
Little Blue Truck is one of Jude’s favorite books, so this Halloween version has quickly become his new favorite book to read! The flaps are lots of fun to turn on each page and see who is dressed up.

2. Llama Llama Trick Or Treat
We’ve also fallen down the Llama Llama rabbit hole and I don’t regret it one bit! This Halloween version is perfect for Jude because it’s a short and sweet board book.

3. Happy Halloween, Curious George
George is still one of Jude’s favorite characters, and maybe that will give you a hint on our costumes this year! ;) Jude loves the different flaps and stories on each page!

4. Happy Halloween Daniel Tiger
Jude’s love for D. Tiger is pretty strong right now, so I couldn’t pass up this lift the flap book for him!

5. Five Black Cats
This simple story is adorable watching the cats make their way to the house to find the Halloween party!

6. Pete The Cat: Five Little Pumpkins
Okay so Pete the Cat might still be a bit above Jude’s head at this age, but he loves counting the pumpkins and seeing all the funny things they do!

7. It’s The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown
Last but certainly not least is the Charlie Brown Halloween classic. My mom got this one for Jude and I know we will be reading it for years and years!

I know this list is nowhere near complete, but I’m sure I’ll continue adding to our Halloween book stash each year! Besides Target and Amazon, I also love looking for books at TJ Maxx, Marshalls, and Sam’s Club!
Tell me, what do I need to get next?
