We just had the busiest and fastest and most festive weekend ever! Let’s do a quick recap of all the fun!
Friday night BTR and I hustled and shipped out tons of BTR Woodworks orders and ran the laser nonstop. This is legit the craziest time of the year! Check out my IG stories to see some behind the scenes videos!
Saturday morning we woke up bright and early and headed to our favorite place ever, Eckert’s! We had reservations for Breakfast with Santa. But it gets better, they also trusted me to take over their Instagram stories for the morning! I was a nervous wreck!
The best part was probably watching Santa arrive at Eckert’s in a helicopter! It was seriously so cool!
And because I was doing the IG takeover, I pretty much forgot to take real pictures all of breakfast. Total #momfail But the boys had fun and we even got a semi-decent family photo with Santa. Minus Jude actually looking at the camera. #insertlaughingcryingemoji
Either way, we had a blast at Eckert’s and are oh so grateful that they invited us to Breakfast with Santa!
And thank you to everyone who snapped back and sent sweet messages, you rock and made me feel like a movie star! :)
After breakfast we left the boys at home with BTR’s mom and headed to STL to drop off a few orders and run some errands!
We were able to stop in the Side Project Brewing and grab a pour and then we headed down the street to this adorable little soap shop called Maven.
They handmade all of their products in their shop (it smelled amazing!) and they even offer soap making classes! I think it would be so fun to take a class, who wants to go with me??
Next we headed to 2nd Shift Brewing for a drink to celebrate their one year anniversary of their new tap room and brewery! We also had lunch there, the flying pig from Guerrilla Street is SO GOOD.
We headed home to the boys and played and then got them to bad. After some more work I pulled out the Cricut to cut iron-on for shirts for Sesame Street Live! I actually designed it all on my phone and then opened Design Space on my computer to resize and send to cut. After pulling out the iron and ironing board I had two of the cutest shirts!
We had a crazy Sunday with lots of catching up on work and things around the house. Then Sunday evening we headed back over to STL to Sesame Street LIVE! Thank you so much to Chaifetz Arena for inviting us, we had the best time ever!
I’m really not sure if Jude, Ezra, or I loved it more. I really hope we can go every year from now until they are 20. That’s not too much to ask, right? :)
But seriously, look how cute they are in those shirts! I also hope they let me dress them in coordinating/matching outfits till they are 20.
What a busy crazy weekend, and we have another crazy week ahead of us too! Luckily tonight is mama’s night OUT complete with tacky holiday attire!
Happy Monday Friends!
