Nothing like waiting till the last minute, right? Brandon and I snapped these pictures yesterday afternoon of Jude in our back yard.
To say I’m obsessed with how they turned out would be the biggest understatement of the year.
We gave him this mini baseball bat to carry around and then he refused to put it down.
I know said before the Fourth of July is one of my favorite holidays. Something about it being summer and hanging out with friends just makes it so much fun. And this was one of the first “holidays” I spent with BTR when we started dating in high school, so there’s that…
Brandon’s mom picked up this swim trunk and rash guard set for Jude and I love it! It’s perfect for the holiday weekend.
It is next to impossible to get him to stop moving for a picture. Also #badaddie photobomb.
And since we were doing a patriotic photo shoot last night, we decided to have an All-American dinner as well!
BTR grilled hamburgers, corn on the cob, and tomatoes from the garden. And obviously for dessert we had popsicles!
This was my first time trying layered pops and I’m pretty happy with out they turned out! The red is raspberries with greek yogurt, the white is plain greek yogurt, and the blue was blueberries with greek yogurt!
Once again Jude wasn’t sure what to do with them and really just wanted to hold it. You can see his tongue sticking out on the photo on the right!
We had a fun evening of playing in the yard and taking photos!
And a huge thanks to BTR for going along with my crazy ideas and being my photographer!
Now it’s your turn! Link up with us below now through July 7 and don’t forget to tag us on Instagram! I can’t wait to see all your little firecrackers!
