Raspberry Simple Syrup
Rapsberry simple syrup is easy to make and makes your cocktails a little more extra!
Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup fresh raspberries
Instructions
- Bring all ingredients to a boil over high heat.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally and using a potato masher to breakdown the raspberries. The fruit should fall apart.
- Remove from heat and let cool for 15 minutes.
- Pour through a fine mesh strainer into a bowl.
- Pour liquid from bowl into a mason jar and store in the fridge.
Notes
You can store simple syrup in the fridge for up to 2 weeks. You can easily half this recipe and do ½ cup of each ingredient.
