#Phillips66Day #Phillips66 #LiveToTheFull
We hit it out of the park with our latest trip to the Cardinals game thanks to Phillips 66! If you’ve been around for a while, you might remember our epic road trip to Kansas City to watch the Cardinals play the Royals last summer. So when Phillips 66 asked us to check out Phillips 66 Day at the Ballpark last week, you know we were all in!
If you were following along with my Instagram stories (go check my highlights now!) you saw how easy it was for us to get discounted tickets to the Cardinals game just by filling up at our local Phillips 66 station. Fill up with at least 8 gallons of gas, go inside and get your scratch off voucher, then go pick your seats for up to 50% off retail! There are seats available in basically the entire ballpark, we even were able to purchase all-inclusive seats that were discounted.
We headed to the game last week on 6/6 since it was 66 Day at the Ballpark (get it?!?) and Phillips 66 was celebrating before and during the game. Before the game started we headed to Ballpark Village for the Phillips 66 event. They had tents set up and were giving out lots of fun swag! The best part was we even got to meet Ozzie Smith! Now Jude was a little shy and wouldn’t look at the camera in our group photo, but Ezra was all about it as you can see.
Phillips 66 had bags boards set up, some other fun interactive games (next time you see BTR ask him about the dance-off!), and even this awesome virtual green screen where we got to Flip Like Ozzie. I’ve included our flip videos below, how fun are they!!
Next stop was inside the stadium to find our seats. Jude and Ezra both filled up on nachos, hot dogs, and then cookies before the first pitch! Of course, BTR and I did the same with all the great food options.
Our seats were perfect on a hot night as we were in the shade. As you can see the boys were in awe of the field and I’m pretty sure Ezra thought he was ready to go down there and play ball. He’s obsessed with all things baseball lately. We brought some binoculars and those were also fun, even if they were using them backwards. And as much as I used to despise the wave at baseball games, it’s now my favorite thing ever watching the boys do it!
Unfortunately, it was not a winner that night, but any summer night at the ballpark is a winner in our book! I love sharing family memories at the ballpark, as I remember going to so many games as a kid with my dad.
Getting our discounted tickets was so easy with Phillips 66 and all we had to do is what we always do and fill up at our local Phillips 66 station. So much of what we support lately is locally and community-based, and Phillips 66 is also just that. They have 213 stations in St. Louis alone. Their gas is the highest quality (which is important to me for our new van) and their brand values match up with our family values.
Thanks again for making our night a home run, maybe next time we’ll bring home a winner!
