One Big Crazy Afternoon

Does anyone else feel like everyone goes a little crazy every afternoon? Usually, it’s right before dinnertime. And while I should probably be inside cooking, I’d much rather be outside with these two wild ones.

We usually pop Ezra in his bouncer on the deck and Jude plays around the deck.

Of course, sometimes he ventures out to the playset and I’m not one to turn down swinging and climbing! Or tractor pushing. We got that tractor for $1 at a yard sale. Best dollar I’ve ever spent.

Ok, how cute is Jude in those Gymboree blue jeans? I mean come on! But are you ready for something even cuter?

Can. Not. Handle. It.

Ezra got to swing for the first time and it’s safe to say he loved every second of it.

Jude pushed him. Once. But once was totally enough to make this mama heart happy! I think this might be the first time Ezra has worn real pants, and not just like a one-piece sleeper with pants. He was so adorable in them! And I love how soft they are! Also pants are key right now because I’m 99% sure E will be crawling in the next few weeks and we need to protect those sweet knees!

Jude gets nervous climbing onto the deck of the playset himself. But once he’s up there, he’s never coming down.

I attempted to climb up there with him. And he was all “no mama no.”

Since the toddler is too cool for me, who wants to see a happy Ezra in a swing again? No one? Too bad. :)

We also practiced our hanging from the bars like in gymnastics class. Because you all know how much Jude loves gymnastics.

Do you know what the best idea before dinner is? Popsicles. Yes, I give my toddler popsicles before dinner sometimes. But’s just orange juice and it makes him the happiest kid in the world. That is till Addie eats half of his popsicle.

Ezra doesn’t get popsicles yet, but he will someday!
