We were very lucky earlier this week to be invited to Noodles & Company for a fun family-friendly night out with delicious food and good company. If you don’t know anything about Noodles & Company and have never been, let me just say it is pasta dishes about a million different ways and therefore close to my heart! #allthepastaallthetimeplease
They were so thoughtful and had a fun activity for our boys to do waiting for us while we dug into our first bites. We were spoiled with getting to try some of the classics and a sneak preview of the new Mac and Cheese dishes. The boys, of course, loved the classic! BTR’s favorite was the Buffalo Mac and Cheese, with chicken, buffalo sauce, and green onions! My favorite was the BBQ version, even though I wasn’t brave enough to try the fried crispy jalapenos on top.
What’s really awesome is that every Thursday is kids night at Noodles & Company from 4-8 pm. There is a fun activity planned, and the best part is kids eat free with the purchase of an adult entree. It is a healthy option when eating out as everything is cooked to order and free of artificial colors, flavors, preservatives, and sweeteners. The kid’s meals are really nice and come with a big pasta portion and fruit and veggie choices. Jude was a little confused and he said his broccoli was too wet, I guess we have only tried raw trees (broccoli) around these parts! And Ezra couldn’t get enough of the noodles. He was a mess as usual!
Our last treat was we got to pick one item of the current menu we hadn’t tried yet. I let BTR get the final word and we tried the Spicy Chipotle Adobo with chicken and cavatappi noodles. It was really good! We ended up taking some sweet treats home in our goodie bag for a successful family night out.

All three boys have learned so many life saving skills by taking swim lessons at @goldfish_warsonwoods. And I’ve learned just as much to help reinforce those skills when we go swimming as a family.
