Here’s an easy recipe for a fun Leprechaun Bait snack that’s perfect for St. Patrick’s Day!

Leprechaun Bait - St. Patrick's Day Recipe

This recipe uses a mix of Lucky Charms cereal, Chex cereal (I used corn but any variety works), pretzel sticks, MORE cereal marshmallows, and green M&Ms! You mix everything together and then cover it in melted white chocolate!

For the extra cereal marshmallows you have two options:
1. Pick out the marshmallows from the cereal.
2. Order a bag of cereal marshmallows! Obviously I went with option 2 because I’m lazy ;)

* Recipe note 3/7/2025, I originally used mint M&M’s for this recipe because they are green. I can no longer find them in store so I now use regular M&Ms!

This time I used a double boiler to melt my chocolate, but these OXO cups are my favorite for melting chocolate easily in the microwave!

Ingredients

4 cups Chex cereal
4 cups Lucky Charms cereal
3 cups pretzel sticks
2 cups cereal marshmallows
2 cups M&Ms
24 oz white chocolate

Instructions

Mix Chex cereal, Lucky Charms, pretzel sticks, cereal marshmallows, and M&Ms in a large bowl.
Either in a double boiler or in the microwave, melt the white chocolate.
Pour the melted chocolate over the cereal mix and stir to combine.
Spread the mix over parchment paper and let harden.
Break into pieces and enjoy! Store in an airtight container or in the fridge.
