Hi friends! I thought I’d do a quick little weekend recap since we had so much fun!
Friday morning we had a play date with friends that led to a lazy afternoon. Which quite honestly are my favorite afternoons! That night BTR and I finally got around to starting Big Little Lies and we opened a fancy beer, PARKAS from 2nd Shift!
Saturday morning BTR and I headed to STL for some quick errands and left the boys at home with his mom. First stop was The Wine And Cheese Place to pick up some beer. They have the best selection in STL! Second stop was Nordstrom Rack because I wanted to get another Barefoot Dreams blanket since Jude claimed my other one as his own. After that we headed to lunch and it was our first time visiting Carl’s Drive In. We had had burgers, fries, and root beers and loved the place!
After lunch we went to Trader Joe’s to do a stock up on our favorites! We headed home to the little dudes and just hung out the rest of the afternoon. That night we made homemade calzones with ingredients from Trader Joe’s and then binged more Big Little Lies!
Sunday morning we woke up and headed to Sky Zone for toddler time. I bought a pass a month ago for 10 toddler times and we hadn’t used it yet. I wanted BTR to go with me the first time because I was nervous how it would work with me and watching both boys.
You guys. We had SO MUCH FUN.
Even BTR admitted how much fun it was. Parents aren’t really supposed to jump, but you can still bounce your kids and have a blast.
Toddler Time is awesome because it’s only kids under the age of 5 in the entire place and their parents. It’s normally $8 a kid, but with the pass I bought it came down to under $5 per kid! We also had to buy sky socks, but you use them every time you go.
I seriously cannot wait to take the boys back and I would totally be comfortable taking them on my own now!
Since all that jumping wore everyone out, we had a lazy Sunday watching football and then made tacos for dinner!
Jude loves his taco truck taco holder (it was a birthday fiesta gift from friends!) and I won’t lie, I love it too! I think I need to order more of them! And of course we also finished binging Big Little Lies. It was so good!!!!! I totally recommend it!
