Earlier this week I told you all about Jude and today I’m going to share some photos of his nursery!

When we were planning how to decorate, we knew we didn’t want a specific theme, more just certain colors and designs. When BTR came up with the idea of a wood wall, I was not on board at first. I was worried it wouldn’t turn out and I would want to rip it off when he was done building it (blame the pregnancy hormones). I couldn’t have been more wrong, it’s my favorite part of his room!

We decided on gray, navy blue, light blue, and white as our colors. We (ahem BTR) painted the other three walls a light gray and then he made the wood wall the main focus of the room, behind the crib. We found this amazing Pottery Barn changing table system on Craig’s List and I’m hoping it will work for Jude to grow with, we can easily convert it to just drawers if necessary.
We got the chair at Babies R Us on clearance plus a coupon! They told us we could order a matching ottoman, but it would have ended up costing more than the chair, so not cool. So I searched high and low for a navy blue knit pouf and found one online at Wal-Mart of all places!
BTR also built the bookshelf (modeled after one from PBK) and it hangs on the wall next to the changing table. We want to build a box to go underneath it for more toys and books. BTR also built the giant J above his crib.
The crib is from Buy Buy Baby and the sheets and crib skirt are PBK. We also got the navy chevron curtains from PBK.
I designed all of the prints with the lyrics to some of our favorite songs, and the frames are from Ikea. The chevron blanket was made by BTR’s grandma.
I’m absolutely in love with the way Jude’s room turned out and hopefully he will be able to grow into it without us having to change too much of the decor. If you have any questions about sources let me know and I’ll try and find them!
