There is no doubt this time of year is the most magical and for so many reasons! The best part for me is seeing the magic through the eyes of the boys. It brings back that feeling when I was a kid and remembering how fun this season is. It’s such a busy time of year, but we are still trying to get in as much as possible and soak up all the memories.

One of our favorite traditions is driving the car around to see all the holiday lights. I’m so excited to partner with Phillips 66 again this year and bring you some of our favorite holiday car hacks for seeing all the lights!

Fill Up Your Tank with Phillips 66 Mobile Pay
Some of the popular holiday light displays can either take a while to get in or take a while when driving through. And the last thing you need in the middle of a busy light display is to run out of gas! This is why I always fill up my tank using Mobile Pay at the Pump with the My Phillips 66 mobile app!

I’ve talked about how much I love mobile pay with Phillips 66 here and here, and this time of year is no different! We can be in and out of the gas station in no time and save by using the app!

Right now you can save up to 25 cents per gallon* when you use Mobile Pay in the My Phillips 66 App!
*Disclaimer: 25¢ is a combined savings of 10¢ off per gallon (up to 30 gallons) at the pump at participating Phillips 66® locations AND 15¢ off per gallon when you pay for fuel using your select payment methods within the My Phillips 66® App. Offer valid through 3/31/22.

Christmas Pajamas and Santa Hats
There is no debating this one, you have to wear your Christmas pajamas and Santa hats when driving through Christmas lights! Bonus points if you also wear them to fill your gas tank at Phillips 66.

Holiday Playlist
Make sure to have your fave holiday songs locked and loaded! We love everything from Bing to Mariah and the boys are really getting into the music this year which makes it so much more fun! However they do tell me and BTR to stop singing so loud.
Snacks
Snacks always make everything more fun. I usually throw together a quick snack mix of chocolate covered grahams, mini marshmallows, and pretzels. Sometimes we also bring kettle corn!

Drinks
I usually bring a thermos with some hot cocoa for everyone, but I try not to break it out until the last half hour or so because little bladders can’t always wait!
3D Glasses
The boys love these holiday themed 3D glass! When you look at the lights they turn into little 3D images and they make everything a little more magical!

Blankets
Make sure to stay warm and cuddly with extra blankets. Plus they are perfect for when the kids fall asleep and you can wrap them up to bring them back inside.

We have loved partnering with Phillips 66 for another year and making sure our van and family is ready for anything! What are some of your hacks for keeping everyone happy while driving through Christmas lights?
