Welcome to our Halloween Party!
I cannot wait to see everyone in their pajamas and costumes! Today I am just sharing PJs, costumes will be later!
I threw the white duvet cover on our bed (just on top of our normal comforter) and thought I would have Jude read some of his Halloween books to Ezra.
Well the jokes on me because Jude only wanted to jump on the bed and Ezra only wanted to eat books and roll off the bed. I like to pretend they are snuggling in the photo above. Pretend being the key word.
I even tried bribing Jude with a sucker but that didn’t work. But really, I don’t care because I’m super happy with how they turned out and we had a fun morning jumping on the bed!
And that one, he is legit crawling and is never where I leave him anymore. Which means I need to make sure tiny Jude toys are no longer on the ground 24/7.
After we snapped our pictures we did a bit of crafting to send Halloween cards to a few of our favorite people.
And then later that afternoon while Ezra was napping, Jude and I decided to bake a cake! From a box of course.
I’ve been having a lot of fun having Jude help me in the kitchen lately. He likes to pour and stir things. And eat cake batter. But I like eating batter too, who can blame him.
And HUGE shoutout to Jen who taught me that you can microwave frosting for 30 seconds and then pour it on your cake as a glaze. I feel like my life has changed for the better because of it. Also, pretty glazed cakes with sprinkles for life!

I love how honest you are Liz. Ha ha! The pictures are adorable even if what they were actually doing wasn’t cooperating. ;) Love their pajamas. I want to see the craft you made to mail. Jude helping in the kitchen is adorable. Love little helpers.
Honesty is the best policy, right?!? I think with 2 boys I will NEVER have a cooperating picture, but hey at least we’re having fun! And now I realized I didn’t take any pictures of the finished craft! Fail!
This is real life with boys! And even if they weren’t “snuggling” they look so cute! I’m so excited to see their costumes! And how in the world did I not pick up the Halloween cake mix!?!
Fun is so much better than snuggly, right? I am now addicted to all holiday cake mixes forever and ever! You totally inspire me to get in the kitchen with Jude more!!!

Oh my goodness! Love the matching Halloween costumes! I wanted to do that with Elin and Grayson but failed. I can’t believe how big Ezra is getting.
