I can’t believe it’s already Friday! I am definitely ready for the weekend!
And since it’s Friday I’m linking up with all my favorites! There’s Darci, April, Natasha, and Christina with Five on Friday!
And then there is A Little Bit of Everything, Grace And Love, and Momfessionals for Friday Favorites!
One.
Jude turned seven months about two weeks ago, and we totally slacked on taking his monthly photo because we were so preoccupied with his surgery. We finally got it together and snapped a few earlier this week. Here are a few of my favorites. I love the one BTR snapped of me taking Jude’s picture with the real camera.
And when did my baby get so big? I posted this photo on Instagram a few days ago, he is completely pulling up and standing up!?!?! We are going to lower his crib this weekend. #stopgrowing
#Two.
I’m so excited about this new marquee sign I received as a birthday gift! I spotted it at Home Goods a few weeks ago and mentioned to BTR how awesome I thought it was. Well he told his mom and she went out and bought it for me! I can’t wait to get it hanging in my studio! My friend Sara actually DIY-ed one for her playroom and I think it’s amazing. I would love to make an R one day!
Three.
This weekend is my 10 year high school reunion! I seriously can’t believe I graduated high school ten years ago, it seems like it was yesterday. Well I realized last week that I haven’t had my hair done in a ridiculously long time and luckily my hair dresser was able to fit me in yesterday afternoon. And I treated myself to a Starbucks Peppermint Mocha to celebrate new color!
Four.
Speaking of high school reunions, what in the world are you supposed to wear? I haven’t bought a lot of clothes and let’s be honest, many of my old clothes still don’t fit post-baby. I’ve bought a few basic items for this in between time, but I really wanted something new and fun to wear on Saturday. I was reading Leah at Everyday Love’s blog this week and she wrote about wanting this sweater because she thought it was drapey and would cover her up. Well I got online and saw that they were available at our local Nordstrom and it was on sale! I pretty much love it and plan on wearing it to every holiday event over the next month. And now I wish I had bought it in another color too!
Five.
I haven’t done a lot of stationery or invitation designing in the past few months, but my mom asked me to design some notecards for her friends! It was so much fun getting back on the computer and working on fun designs and patterns and colors! I forgot how much I enjoy doing it. If you ever need any personalized stationery or gift products, I’d love to design something for you!
We have a very busy weekend planned with my reunion and working on things for the holidays for all of our businesses. I hope you have a great weekend too!
EDIT: Six.
No joke I put Jude down for his nap to write this post and edit the photos. He was quiet and asleep. All of a sudden I hear screaming and look on his monitor and he’s standing in his crib. So I RUN to his room (which is literally less than 10 feet from my studio) and this is what’s happening. We are DEFINITELY lowering the crib tonight! :)
