Happy Friday Friends!
One.
We had such a wonderful Thanksgiving as a family of four!
We started our day with beer-mosas or Sofie-mosas, while watching the Macy’s Parade.
Jude behaved incredibly well and only had a few meltdowns. And Ezra soaked up all the extra snuggles and attention from family members.
I bought these adorable paint your own turkey cookies and Jude has so much fun painting them! And then eating them of course!
Two.
Throwback to the night before Thanksgiving, we made a gingerbread turkey! I bought this kit at Trader Joe’s and it was so much fun! Definitely a different activity for the night before Thanksgiving than when we were younger and went out! I think this will be one we continue, though!
Three.
Jude loves trains so he was so excited to ride the holiday train at Union Station last week! We had our first Santa encounter of the year and it wasn’t quite as bad as I expected. ;) we also had dinner at the Union Station hotel and it was gorgeous! The light show was so fun and BTR and I talked about how fun it would be to have drinks at the bar and see the show again (without kids). Thanks to Union Station for providing us tickets for everything!
Four.
I forgot to share this earlier, but I’m so excited to be a part of the Chick-fil-A Mom’s Panel this year! They sent us this awesome package in the mail and Jude is now obsessed with putting the cow in his tractor!
Five.
BTR had to run to the lumber store this morning, so he also ran to a couple of grocery stores to attempt some Goose Hunting. Well, he totally lucked out and got a Barleywine variant! Woo hoo! We are planning to head to a local shop this morning to get some draft pours also! That’s our kind of black Friday shopping! :) Don’t worry I have a few other purchases planned already!
