Happy Friday Friends! Here are my Friday Favorites this week!
One.
This week my mom watched Ezra while I took Jude to his gymnastics class. His favorite thing is hanging on the bars.
Since it was just me and him I was able to do a lot more running around with him! I finally just forced him to do the activities with the instructors instead of him just telling them no. And while he was pretty angry while he did the things with them, as soon as that part was over he was fine and playing again! And for once he actually wanted to get his hand stamped after class. I feel like it was our best class yet and I’m so happy about it!
It was a rainy day when we got home, so that afternoon we popped some popcorn and Jude watched The Lion King for the first time, he really liked it and watched most of it with me!
Two.
Backtracking to Monday, I took both boys BY MYSELF to the members Halloween party at The Magic House. Oh my goodness it was something. :) I had never been with both just by myself, but I wore Ezra the whole time in the Solly Wrap and Jude only melted down a couple times. Overall it was a great visit and we had a blast!
Three.
Earlier this week our local CFA had a Fall Festival Family Night with activities and pumpking painting, so we headed up there for dinner. After eating, all four of us went into the play area for Jude to run around. I saw that the CFA Cow had come out and I told Jude. I have never in my life seen that kid move so fast. BTR and I were practically crying we were laughing so much at him running down the play structure yelling “PAPA! COW! PAPA! COW!” It was amazing. And of course, when we got to the cow he was super shy and wouldn’t even make eye contact. But we have another character photo for his scrapbook!
Four.
Last night we headed over to STL to pick up our Perennial Abraxas packages.
We were sitting at one of the picnic tables deciding what we should pick up for dinner when all of a sudden the Guerrilla Street Food Truck pulled up. They are one of my favorite STL food trucks (get the flying pig, you won’t regret it) so we decided to order and have a picnic right there! The boys were really well behaved and we had a fun time before heading home for bed.
Five.
