Today’s Friday Favorites post is a hodge podge of everything so here we go!
One.
I never really recapped our Mother’s Day weekend! Saturday we went strawberry picking at Eckert’s and then Sunday was super low key, and it was perfect! Oh and taking pictures with toddlers is for the birds. Seriously.
Two.
Speaking of strawberries… BTR made homemade waffles on Sunday morning and I topped them with some freshly cut strawberries! And that is a beer-mosa in case you were wondering, and it was delicious!
Then for dessert that afternoon we made strawberry shortcake!
Three.
So I’ll be honest, our garden is not looking it’s best this year. Our peas have barely grown and I have no idea why. We have tons of radishes so I’ll call that a win. For Mother’s Day BTR and the boys gave me this beautiful succulent planter and I’m praying I don’t kill it since my green thumb seems to have disappeared this year!
Four.
Thanks for all the love on my DIY Beach Towel and Swim Bag post! I wanted to share links to the products I used. Here is a link to the canvas bag and here is a link to the turkish towel. The towels come in tons of different colors and sizes!
Five.
So I just ordered some new shoes for the summer, but now I need some new sunglasses! I didn’t want to spend a ton of money because I always lose and break sunglasses, so I was pretty excited to see a ton of different options on Nordstrom for only $12! But now I need your help deciding which pair to get! Here are the ones I’ve narrowed it down to these four. Which should I get? Or let’s be honest, I probably need one black pair plus that gold aviator pair, right?!!?
Top Left – Top Right
Bottom Left – Bottom Right
Six.
We took our first neighborhood walk as a family of four (plus pups) the other day and can I just say how obsessed I am with this new stroller? It’s kind of a beast, but it’s EXACTLY what I wanted in a double and I’m so glad I got it! I guess now I need to do a whole second baby favorites list?
Seven.
Even though our peas aren’t doing well, we haven’t given up total hope on our garden! We went and picked up our tomatoes and zucchini plans at the local nursery we go to every year. Which means I got to snap a photo of both the boys. And for comparison, here’s a photo with just Jude in 2014 and 2015 and both boys in 2016. Yup I’m pretty much obsessed!
Happy Friday friends! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
