What a busy week! I’m so excited for the weekend, but it’s going to be another busy one!
One.
So this is my fifth post in five days. That might be the first and last time that ever happens! Just kidding, I really enjoyed all the writing (and comments from you) this week! Here’s what you might have missed…
Monday – Weekend Recap (with a sneak peek of my favorite house project we’ve ever done!)
Tuesday – Citrus Lane – February 2015 (spoiler: not that interesting)
Wednesday – Currently… (#reallife)
Thursday – The Guy Behind The Blog (probably my favorite post this week)
Two.
So I survived my first hot yoga class last night! No photos because I looked like I got out of a swimming pool when it was over. At first it wasn’t so bad, but halfway through during a warrior pose, I wasn’t so sure I was going to make it. But in all I actually really enjoyed it! They do the same routine/flow every class so I think I will start to enjoy it more as I get used to it. So yes, I will be going back! Now I’m off to research and by all the hot yoga accessories!
Three.
We wanted to build a little swing for Jude in our backyard, but after doing more research and seeing how expensive just building a swing would be, we decided to get an entire play set. And then we were SHOCKED at how much new playsets cost! After some Craigslist searching we found a fairly new one nearby and should be picking it up next week! I realize Jude won’t get to take full advantage of it just yet, but I am so excited! I can’t wait to show it to you and yes we are crazy parents.
Four.
I’ve been on the hunt for shoes for Jude, because up until now we’ve just put him in footie pjs (all-day-every-day) or socks. I was on Zulily (affiliate!) the other day and found these adorable Sperry shoes and could not resist. They arrived yesterday and I can’t wait for him to wear them! This was actually the first time I’ve ever shopped on Zulily and it was super easy! Shipping was a little long, but I think with the deals you get that is expected. I also bought a Hanna Andersson jacket and shirt for him, but they haven’t arrived yet.
Five.
This post has been floating around Facebook and I really enjoyed reading it. I think we all get so caught up in the little details, me included, and I think this is a great reminder to just breathe. I especially need to remember all of this in planning for Jude’s first birthday party. I keep worrying I won’t have the right cookies or banners or whatever it is, but really, as long as our family and friends are here to celebrate with us, it will be a great day!
Okay that’s all I have for you today! We have a super busy weekend, tomorrow is the Lupulin Carnival at 4 Hands Brewery and Sunday we have a baby shower for our best friends!! There is going to be a ferris wheel at the carnival and I’m giddy thinking about it. And I’m even more excited to celebrate Baby E with lots of love and gifts!
As always, I’m linking up with all the lovely ladies listed on my new linkup page! And don’t forget to like Ellie And Addie on Facebook when you have a chance, I’d really appreciate it!
Happy Friday friends! Have a fun weekend and see you here on Monday!
