I feel like this week flew by. Is it really already Friday?
One.
Jude’s birthday invitations are arriving from the printer today (yay for free overnight shipping!) so I need to address all the envelopes so they are ready to mail. Then I can start planning and crafting all the details! Pinterest is amazing and the worst for my attention span these days.
Two.
We actually don’t have a lot planned this weekend and I’m so glad we might get to relax a little! I do have barre class Saturday morning and might try to stop by a kids consignment sale on my way to barre, I need to get some outside play clothes for Jude. Saturday night BTR and I are going to go to dinner at Peel Pizza and Brewery for the first time. They just opened one in O’Fallon, IL and we got a gift card for Christmas. Pizza is my favorite food group (yes, pizza is a food group in my book) so I’m excited to see what they offer and BTR is excited to try out the beers they make.
Three.
I’m hoping to visit the Magic House soon with Jude again. We got a family membership and I want to make sure we get our money’s worth! Even if we only go for a few hours, I think it will be nice to get out of the house and do something.
Four.
I have a confession. I’m obsessed with Amazon and seeing what their daily deals are. So the other day when Green Toys were being featured I might have gone a little overboard. But I have been telling BTR since at least December how much I wanted to get Jude the dump truck. So when I found it along with the airplane, helicopter, submarine, seaplane, and tool set all for 50% off, I jumped.
And here’s my other Amazon secret. I knew I didn’t need any of these immediately so I chose “no rush” shipping instead of the Prime two day option and they gave me a $1 credit to use on a book or movie on a future purchase from Amazon. And because I ordered each toy separately I should get $6 in credits. There is no shame in my game.
Five.
I posted this picture on Instagram last night, but I just had to share it again. We went into the play place at CFA after story time yesterday and he was so adorable. He likes watching the other big kids play and he even walked away from me on his own to play a bit. His popped foot and side smirk just kill me.
Six.
And a bonus one because it’s too funny not to share. Jude mostly wears Pampers Swaddlers, but I picked up a pack of Cruisers to try out. I guess BTR hadn’t noticed them yet because yesterday he got all excited and thought maybe we had the golden ticket diaper that changed into crazy designs once it was “used.” Sorry BTR, we did not win a million dollars or a trip to the chocolate factory. Maybe next time… :)
As always, I’m linking up with all the lovely ladies listed on my new linkup page! And don’t forget to like Ellie And Addie on Facebook when you have a chance, I’d really appreciate it!
Happy Friday friends! Have a fun weekend and see you here on Monday!
