It’s finally Friday!! And as always I’m linking up with all my favorites!
There’s Darci, April, Natasha, and Christina with Five on Friday!
And then there is Erika, Narci, and Andrea for Friday Favorites!
And for fun, we are adding a new link up this week with Karli and Amy called Oh Hey Friday.
I’m so excited because I’m writing my first blog post from my new computer! It is so nice to be able to work from my home office again and on my own computer! I was able to pick up right where I left off (thank goodness for Time Machine backups!!) and dive right in. And I’m in LOVE with the 27 inch screen. Okay moving on…
One.
I keep thinking of the phrase “the days are long but the years are short” and how true it is. Some days I feel like I’m counting down the minutes till BTR gets home so I can get some work done (and by work I mean shipping packages, listing items on ebay, and working in QuickBooks). And then I realize that my baby is ten months old and I’m in total shock about how fast it’s gone. Don’t get me wrong, I’m so glad we made the decision for me to have a business and be able to work from home. But it is tough doing both. Props to all moms, stay at home and working!
Two.
We went to our local Chic Fil A story time again this past Thursday morning and they had heart shaped chicken biscuits! It was delicious and we can’t wait till next Thursday!
Three.
I had to call a company to get some technical support for a problem I was having with my shipping program. We were screen sharing and when one of the options was grayed out he asked me to contact my IT department to get permissions to edit it. Which immediately made me burst out into laughter and he probably thought I was crazy. People always think we are some big company with multiple departments. When in reality I am the shipping, billing, IT, customer service, and boss lady. But we got the problem fixed and I can ship again, hallelujah!
Four.
We have a super busy weekend planned starting with a much needed haircut and color tomorrow morning. Then Saturday night we have Junior Service Trivia Night. Sunday morning we are greeters at church and then Sunday afternoon we are meeting some out of town family for an early dinner in STL.
Five.
Speaking of Junior Service, I’m so excited because I was nominated to serve on the board of directors next year! I’m so excited for this opportunity! And don’t forget, if you are local and have a little one you should come to our Frozen Sing-A-Long we are hosting on March 7 & 8. It’s going to be so much fun! You can get your tickets here.
Six.
And a bonus one. I wanted to order a shirt from Old Navy and saw that on Super Bowl Sunday they had an extra 30% off everything. I ordered this shirt and multiple colors of this sweatshirt. With the discount I only paid $7 for the sweatshirts. They arrived yesterday and I’m in love and so glad I got multiple colors, it’s probably going to become a staple in my wardrobe. So don’t judge when you see me wearing it on repeat.
Happy Friday friends!
