These Fourth of July Mini Shortcake Cups are so easy to make and everyone loves them! And since they are individually packaged they are perfect for taking to a party for everyone to grab as they want.

I made this recipe even easier by buying everything from the grocery store, so all that was left to do was assemble!
I found the angel food cake next to the fruit at the grocery store, and then I grabbed a can of whipped cream. Next time I want to make homemade whipped cream, but I was in a hurry! ;)

Watch how easy it is to make these shortcake cups!

Now for assembly you could use little mason jars (so cute!) or just grab some clear plastic cups for a quick and easy clean up. And probably better if you are taking these to a party so your hostess doesn’t have to clean up extra dishes.

When you get home from the store wash your fruit and let it fully dry. Then cube your cake and cut your strawberries. I chose not to cut the raspberries and blueberries.

Add some cake to the cup and then add a mix of strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries. Top with whipped cream and you are done!
These Fourth of July mini shortcake cups are a perfect treat to make ahead of time! You can fill your cups with cake and fruit and then store them in the fridge until party time. Then during the party you can set the cups out and leave the can of whipped cream next to them for everyone to top when they are ready! This is better because the whipped cream can deflate over time and then they aren’t as pretty. Don’t forget to top with one more blueberry!

I really hope you loved this Fourth of July mini shortcake cup recipe!
