So winter came early in STL! No joke, we are already on number 2 of 3 winter weather advisories for the week! The chill came fast and I’ve been brainstorming ways to keep warm and cozy!! Here are my five ways to keep cozy when the temperatures start to drop!
1. Wear Cuddl Duds
Layers and layers of Cuddl Duds keep me warm and cozy and allow me to still enjoy our daily activities and busy routine with two very active toddlers! I love this Cuddl Duds Fleece Wrap for running errands or heading to preschool pick up.
2. Add some accessories!
Cozy socks and a blanket are the next steps. There is nothing more I love than lounging at our house and keeping warm with some socks and my favorite blanket or two! Or three! the new Cuddl Duds Waffle Thermal is the coziest shirt I’ve ever worn! I think I need to grab a few more patterns and some pants next!
3. Make a beverage!
Give me all the tea, coffee, and hot cocoa there is to offer! Nothing takes away a good chill like a hot drink. Even when its a bit chilly out, we have to get the boys out in the yard to play and burn off some of that energy. So a hot drink and a blanket are my go to’s for being outside with them.
4. Inhale
Gimme all the smelly candles and essential oils. Just the aroma of vanilla, pine, and peppermint can make you have the cozy winter and holiday feeling. I am looking for new winter essential oil blends, let me hear them below!
5. Get in the kitchen
Now that I have my Cuddl Duds on, a warm drink in hand, all the winter smells, where is the food? I love comfort food. From baking apple pies to crockpot meals, nothing is cozier than a hot treat at the ends of the day! We’ve already made a few of our favorite dishes this season and I can’t wait to make more as we head into the rest of winter!
Okay time to get cozy, we’ve got snow in the forecast!
