A couple of weekends ago we packed up the car and headed out to Eckert’s Millstadt Farm.
If you remember we went last year for the first time and we left Ezra at home.
Well this year Ezra was big enough to tag along and we all had so much fun!
Visiting Eckert’s Millstadt is a must for your fall family bucket lists, there is just so much to do there!
It’s different than the Belleville Eckert’s because you pay one admission fee and pretty much everything is included besides some pony rides and food.
And make sure to check their schedule because they are open during the week too!
The boys had SO MUCH FUN on the jumping pillow that I’m pretty sure we are going to go back just so they can jump on it for hours. And then hopefully take a nap? #kidding #theynevernap
Also please ignore our summer clothes, STL hasn’t gotten the fall memo and it’s been 90 the past few weeks. I’m over it.
The boys also loved playing on the different playgrounds and riding the mini tractor ride!
The views from the farm are just gorgeous.
I heart these three boys so much!
After feeding the goats (can I take one home?) and watching some pig races, we hopped on the tractor to pick some apples! Pumpkins weren’t ready yet, but I heard they will be soon!
And guess what?
Both boys ate apples!
After no one wanting to eat strawberries, blackberries, or peaches I had just about given up hope.
But apparently they were just waiting for apples!
After we picked ALL the apples so I could make a pie later, we hopped back on the tractor.
We grabbed a bite to eat and then rode a few of the carnival rides. Which was a surprise because I didn’t think Jude would want to, but he LOVED them!
I don’t remember these from last year, but they are these giant barrels you can get inside and walk in, Jude and I had fun doing it together.
Finally it was time to find our bonfire and roast some marshmallows for s’mores. Which Ezra did not like and Jude only wanted graham crackers. More for me please!
The last thing we did before leaving was ride the carousel and I think I had as much fun as the boys did!
These are the best fall memories, even if it didn’t feel like fall.
Make sure to plan your trip to Eckert’s Millstadt before the end of October! There’s so much for everyone to do, I’m sure you’ll love it!
