Easter is a busy day for families!
You wake up early and head to church, head back home to find Easter baskets and eggs around the house, and then get ready to host extended family at your house! It’s a busy day with Easter egg hunts, playing with new goodies, and entertaining.

Cooking an entire holiday meal can be daunting and stressful and take away time with loved ones. We love to take the off pressure by letting Honey Baked Ham make it easy for us with their delicious Hams and side dishes!
Here are my 3 tips for effortless Easter hosting!
1. Make your own appetizer!
Making an easy appetizer is a great way to include a little of your own “cooking” to your Easter meal. One of our family favorites is a simple open face radish sandwich. First, we thinly slice radishes from our garden. Take some softened butter and add a little salt and some chopped fresh chives (also from our garden). Slice a crusty baguette and top with butter and radishes. That’s it! Something light and delicious before a big meal!

2. Let Honey Baked Ham take care of the rest!
Seriously, it is so good and no complicated schedule of four things trying to share the same tiny oven. The flavor of a Honey Baked Ham is the perfect combination of sweet and savory with a crunchy glaze. The best part of getting a Honey Baked Ham? Definitely having leftover ham the entire next week!!

We also made it easy by picking up a few of their signature sides. The mac and cheese is a real crowd pleaser for the under-five crowd! Ok, fine adults too! :)

3. Make a signature cocktail!
Yes for every holiday cocktails are essential! This is another fun way to still show off your personality and put your own twist on the meal. We found a few different cocktails then add a couple of twists to pair them with our Honey Baked Ham! Our favorite was the Pineapple Honey Bourbon cocktail.

To make you need:
2 oz bourbon
4 oz of pineapple juice (fresh or from a can)
1 tablespoon of honey
A squirt of lemon juice
Add everything to a cocktail shaker with ice and shake! Strain and pour into a cocktail glass with clean ice. You can top it with some club soda if you want a fizz!

There you have it! Your Easter dinner made simple! Let Honey Baked Ham do the heavy lifting and adding a bit of your own personality. Now back to that cocktail!
