Who doesn’t love football, pizza, and crafting? Okay fine, maybe BTR loves football and pizza and I love pizza and crafting, but that’s just what makes us perfect for each other, right?
We thought it would be fun to have some friends over to watch the games one Sunday and we decided to do something super easy for the food by going to Sam’s Club and picking up a Coca-Cola Family Pizza Bundle! It’s seriously a great deal (and you know I love deals). For $13.98 you get a 16 inch pizza, cheesy breadsticks, cookies, and a 2 liter of Coca-Cola, and you don’t even have to call ahead! You just run into your club cafe and tell them you want a combo and they package it all up for you.
Since the food was so easy for our little football party, I decided I needed to do a little crafting. At our local party store I was able to get a football field table cloth, football paper plates and napkins, and some solid brown paper cups. I went with all disposable tableware to make party clean up easy.
I already had lots of paper, ribbon, and vinyl for my crafting needs, so I got started designing and cutting with my Cricut. I cut brown pennants and white paper for the laces. Then I also cut white vinyl laces for the cups. I glued the laces to the pennants and then peeled the vinyl to attach to the paper cups. After stringing the pennants onto ribbon, my party decor was done!
And just in case you don’t have a Cricut, you can still make these crafts! I created this download of pennants and laces that you can print out and trace onto any cardstock or sticker paper to make your own pennants and football cups. Click here or on the picture below to download the PDF. And if you do happen to have a Cricut, I can share the SVGs with you to upload directly into the design software for cutting, send me an email!
Our little football party with friends was lots of fun, plus we had yummy food that I didn’t have to cook! And while I couldn’t get enough of the breadsticks, let’s just say that a certain toddler thought the cookies were delicious and we had to hide them from him so he didn’t eat them all!
So after you get your pizza for the big game are you going to do any crafting for the big game?
