Hello! And welcome to this week’s edition of currently…
Secretly – obsessing over my EOS lip balms (specifically the coconut milk variety). BTR bought me one for Christmas and I loved it so much I bought 2 more to have in my purse and around the house. And then all this ridiculousness with a lawsuit came out because people were having reactions. But I really think those people are just a tiny bit crazy because this stuff is awesome in my book. Also I just read that the lawsuit was settled and they aren’t even changing the product so… I’ll just keep on keepin on with that.
Crying – that my baby is really this big. And that he’s only getting bigger. #holdme
Giving – myself some grace about not blogging consistently. I have a million things I want to write about, but life is just more important right now. Oh and finishing the taxes for three businesses.
Laughing – because BTR was recently invited to a “dadchelor” party. And yes apparently this is a real thing! I actually think it’s a pretty clever and fun idea, kind of like a diaper poker party for a dad to be, except making a weekend out of it. Unfortunately BTR can’t go because it’s two weeks after baby 2 is due. And there’s no way he’s leaving me alone with two kids for a weekend that soon!
Loving – reading all of the Day In The Life posts on Julia’s round up! You should definitely head over and read them, 31 bloggers participated this time!
Confused – on how to use my new Target beauty blender sponge. I’ve always been intrigued by the real one, but not willing to pay $20 for it. Target had one for $4.99, #winning! I read you’re supposed to get it wet before using, but that seems weird to me. Anyone have any tips?
Obsessing – over using my big camera. I had my camera class that BTR and Jude gave me for Christmas last weekend and I learned so much! I’ve always been so intimidated by all the buttons on my camera, but now it’s starting to make sense. And obviously I had to go buy a new lens, so a nifty fifty is on its way to me as we speak!
Wishing – I had more tacos. We had dinner last night at our favorite little Mexican restaurant and it was so yummy. And Jude really likes smiley fries!
Needing – a good recipe to take to JSC trivia night on Friday. Something easy and delicious, any ideas for me?
