Summer is in full swing and with the holiday weekend coming up what better time to try a new cocktail recipe!!
Ok this legit might be my favorite cocktail BTR has made with fresh fruit thus far (although last year’s blackberry mojito was AMAZING)! We have been making more gin drinks lately because they are so refreshing in this heat!
We had so much fun picking blackberries last week at Eckert’s (post coming soon!) and seriously brought home a ton. Okay fine it was six pounds. But that seems like a ton. So we used some for baking, froze a few, and made plenty of cocktails!
Here’s the recipe for the blackberry gin fizz!
2 oz of your favorite Gin
1/2 tablespoon simple sugar
1/2 can of San Pellegrino Lemon
Mint to garnish
Muddle the blackberries and simple sugar in a glass.
Add gin and ice
Top the glass off with San Pellegrino Lemon and stir.
Garnish with mint.
